3. Payment Terms

Payment must be made as per the agreed schedule. We accept various payment methods, including:

Bank Transfers
Cash

Late payments may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Clients may cancel their booking under the following conditions:

Cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery.
Refunds will be processed minus a cancellation fee of £50 to cover administrative costs.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

5. Skip Usage and Responsibility

Clients are responsible for the proper use of the skip. This includes:

Not overfilling the skip beyond the specified capacity.
Ensuring that hazardous materials are not disposed of in the skip.
Placing the skip on a stable and legal surface.

Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may result in additional charges or termination of service.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

Chemicals such as paints, solvents, and acids.
Electronics including televisions, computers, and batteries.
Medicines and pharmaceuticals.
Asbestos and other hazardous materials.

Disposing of prohibited items may result in legal action and additional fees.

7. Delivery and Collection

Delivery and collection of skips will be scheduled based on availability. Clients must ensure that access to the delivery location is clear and unobstructed.

Delivery: The skip will be delivered to the specified address on the agreed date.
Collection: After the skip is filled, it will be collected within the specified rental period.

Clients must be present during delivery and collection times or provide authorization for a representative.

8. Liability

Skip Hire Teddington is not liable for any damage caused to property or vehicles due to improper placement of the skip.

Clients are responsible for any damage caused by overloading or misusing the skip.

We recommend taking photographs of the delivery location prior to skip placement to document any pre-existing conditions.

9. Insurance

While we carry insurance for our services, clients are advised to ensure that their property is adequately insured against any potential damage during the skip placement and usage.

Skip Hire Teddington is not liable for the loss or damage of personal items stored within the skip.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Teddington.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or through our website.

Continued use of our services after amendments constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Force Majeure

In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify clients and reschedule services at the earliest convenience.

14. Severability

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Skip Hire Teddington and the client regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
